Ancient Maya civilization captivated me. Seeking insight into their high culture and hidden wisdom, I traveled to many Maya
sites in Guatemala, Mexico and Belize where I studied with indigenous elders including Amrak Sapper, Tata Pedro, Don
Alejandro Cirilo Perez and Hunbatz Men. I became a Maya Solar Initiate and Fire Woman in the lineage of the Itza Maya,
apprenticing with Hunbatz Men, Elder, Shaman and Daykeeper, Priest in the Itza Maya Council of Elders in Yucatan, Mexico.
I taught programs with him and co-directed the Maya Cosmic Initiatic University near Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
A seeker since childhood, I've experienced several spiritual paths: Hindu-Vedanta including 15 years in Ananda community,
based on Paramahansa Yogananda's teachings; Egyptian-Hermetic traditions with the Isis Iseum in Nevada City through the
lineage of Lady Olivia Robertson (Clonegal Castle, Ireland); Tibetan and Zen Buddhism, and Goddess-oriented paganism. I
am an ordained Priestess of Isis.
One of my spirit guides is an ancient Maya priestess, Yalucha. Her story is told in my book, Dreaming the Maya Fifth Sun
(see below). I first met her on a pilgrimage to India to see the Hindu Master Satya Sai Baba. My uayob (naguals, animal
spirit guides) are Ua Zit the cobra, Leo the lion, and the quetzal bird, sacred to the Maya.
The work of Caroline Myss is powerful for personal growth. I've taken several in-depth trainings to become certified in

My passion for the cosmovision, wisdom, iconography and celestial architecture of the Maya led to writing the novel,
Dreaming the Maya Fifth Sun, A Novel of Maya Wisdom and the 2012 Shift in Consciousness (Infinity Publishing, 2006).
The story reveals Maya teachings about the end of the Great Cycle in 2012, and the change of consciousness that ushers
in the new age. It is the first novel in the trilogy, Maya Visions.

|Yucatan, Mexico -- Sacred Land of the Maya
Living five years in Mérida, Yucatan, México, in the sacred Mayan lands, I experienced the vibrations, consciousness and
echoes that exude from the stones of ancient sites, the trees and cenotes, the very earth itself. The stones' whispers and
ethereal images guide and inspire my writing. These stories hope to vividly convey the profound mystic teachings
incorporated in the Maya culture, archeological sites and cosmovision.
